The joint 66th Society for French Historical Studies Conference and 22nd George Rudé Seminar in French History and Civilisation (hosted by the University of Auckland and Massey University) will take place during the month of July. Some events are live, but others will be released on successive Sundays to be accessed at your leisure. They can be accessed at H-France.

The conference organizers ask that you join one of the organizations putting it on before attending.

Join for the live keynote and opening cocktail party: “The Borderlands of Slavery in Medieval Mediterranean France”, Daniel Lord Smail, Harvard University, 7/7/2020 UTC -4.

“There are four types of session: Keynotes, Webinars, Salons, and Panels. The general principle is that Keynotes and Webinars are live and recorded, Salons are live but not recorded, and Panels are pre-recorded. If you want to participate in sessions that are live and not recorded you will have to log in for the live session. “
